For our Speciality Gas site in Keumiée (Sombreffe, BE), we are looking for a new EHS&Q Coordinator to take safety to the next level.

As a Prevention Advisor within the Belgian EHSQ team, you are the go-to person for everything related to safety, environment, and risk management. You coach, train, and advise with the goal of ensuring a safe and sustainable workplace.
 

In this role, you will:

  • Ensure effective EH&S support across the site, including training, coaching, and compliance.

  • Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Admin teams to develop clear safety procedures.

  • Provide hands-on support in training, safety coaching, risk assessments, and incident investigations.

  • Participate in national EHS projects, industry workshops, and internal audits.

  • Support site security and medical surveillance coordination.

  • Continuously evaluate and improve safety and environmental practices on site.

Who we are looking for

A (technical) education or degree

A level 1 degree as Safety Professional according to Belgian legislation (preferably), or a level 2 and willing to achieve a level 1 degree.

Solid knowledge of Belgian HSE legislation and ISO quality standards

Strong organizational and communication skills; fluent in French and English (must)

A proactive person with leadership qualities and a pragmatic, problem-solving mindset.

Willing to lead by example and influence cross-functional teams.
